Non-operative (conservative) orthopaedics in Berlin-Charlottenburg

Acupuncture is a therapy that comes from traditional Chinese medicine and is based on the teaching of Ying and Yang. The life energy Chi/Qi influences all functions of the human body and flows in a meridian system (pathway) through the body. Obstructions of these pathways can cause pain and diseases.

The insertion of sterile acupuncture needles into the skin harmonizes the energy stream in the meridians. One treatment lasts between 20 and 30 minutes while the patient is placed in a relaxed position.

Chiropractic treatment or manual therapy is a therapy that treats malfunctions of the musculoskeletal system. Based on an exact diagnosis, the physician can accurately mobilize or manipulate the affected joint.

By mobilizing the normal range of motion is gained by soft repetitive motion of the affected joint. Manipulation loses a joint blockage with a short and accurate impulse.
